Your Kentucky Derby Open Thread
Post-time for the 137th Kentucky Derby isn't until 6:24 p.m. eastern but, hell, NBC starts its coverage at 4 p.m. so it's a stone-cold mortal lock that Costas'll do something toity enough to warrant open-thread discussion.
If you know as little about this year's track trot as me, give the CY interview with NBC Sports' Randy Moss a listen. Sure, he was interviewed before Uncle Mo got scratched, but the horse racing analyst/handicapper's been to 31 of the last 32 Runs for the Roses.
Says he, "This year more than any other Kentucky Derby I think I've ever covered, it is wide open."
Here's where you can read equi-bios. I'm smelling Nehro-Archarcharch-Twice the Appeal, but I'd box it.
