Neither the San Jose Sharks nor the Vancouver Canucks have won the Stanley Cup. Ever. Hell, the Sharks haven't even been to the finals. But first team to beat the other four times will fight for it against either Boston or Tampa Bay, who have both won it before. (And just like that, you have the first lazy angle coming your way in about two weeks.)
This is how it was supposed to go: the No. 1 seed vs. No. 2 seed. The Canucks took three out of four in the season series. The Canucks won 6-1 in November and 4-3 in early January. The Sharks won in a shoot-out on Jan. 20 and Vancouver followed suit in March.
