Pete Rose Twitter Impostor Dupes Aaron Boone
If you don't believe that Twitter account @hit14king is actually Pete Rose, @hit14king defies you to "Call Aaron Boone and say what's up 513-226-7250 #reds #hatsoffcin #4192 its me people."
After apparently being DM'd a phone number as verification, a verified Boone bought in with " Follow Pete Rose @hit14king," " That is the real Pete Rose everyone. Will take him bout a week to get verified" and " @ESPNCindyB really him Cindy."
Clarity of mind somehow entered around 4 a.m. eastern with the message, " I've been duped everyone. Not the real Pete Rose. Sorry!"
Pity. This could've brought some sad-clown-meltdown competition for Jose Canseco. But whatever, if you have $5K to spare, buy a "once in a lifetime experience having dinner with Pete Rose." The real one.
The minimum number of people is four and the price is $5,000.00. For each additional person add an additional $1,000. The price includes the meal, with a limit of $100 for alcoholic beverages. ...
We believe that you should be alert for your dinner with Pete; this will be one of the funniest, entertaining, and interesting evenings you will ever experience.
