Your U.S. Open Semifinals Open Thread
Weather permitting — and it's expected to do just that — both the men's and women's semifinals will be played in Flushing Meadows, NY today.
On the men's side, the day starts around noon with Novak Djokovic facing Roger Federer. After that, Andy Murray will attempt to do something Andy Roddick couldn't even come within a shroom-fueled fantasy of doing: defeat Rafael Nadal. They're the top four seeds. They're worth watching.
The women's final four features the No. 1, 9 and 28 seeds and an unranked entrant. Angelique Kerber faces Samantha Stosur (9) at 6 p.m. with Serena Williams battling top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki an hour later.
