Sidney Crosby Has To Miss Two Games Because Of This Hit
He's been back for just eight games since he ended his 10-month absence because of a concussion, but Sidney Crosby won't play tomorrow in Philly or Saturday at the Islanders, the Penguins have announced.
Crosby left Monday night's game against the Bruins after colliding with teammate Chris Kunitz. Crosby didn't hit his head, and his baseline concussion test "showed no problems," according to Penguins general manager Ray Shero. Still, Shero also said, "Sidney took a hard hit during our game against Boston Monday night and wasn't feeling 100 percent." And lest anyone get carried away over what the Penguins might know or whether they're holding anything back, it might be time to re-read this.
