This Is What It's Like When Your Bungee Cord Breaks While Hurtling Toward Victoria Falls
Australian college student Erin Langworthy went on a summer vacation to Africa, and decided to take the tourist plunge—literally—taking a New Year's Eve bungee jump from the Zambezi river bridge at Victoria Falls, along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Maybe she chose a discount bungee cord provider, maybe it was a freak accident, but when she was about seven stories above the river, the cord broke and she was dumped into the water—feet still bound from the bungee apparatus. Did we mention the Zambezi is full of crocodiles?
But really, just watch the video report above from Sky News. It's a "holy shit" moment to see on video, and I can't imagine-don't want to imagine—what it was like to experience personally.
