Donovan McNabb Makes Triumphant Minnesota Rec League Hoops Debut
Donovan McNabb: always keeping in shape.
Last night in St. Louis Park, Minn., supersub McNabb came off the bench to play 30 minutes in the season-opening game for Most Dominant Ever, a team in the Ultimate Hoops rec league. The forward put up 14 points and 10 boards, and went 2-for-4 from beyond the arc (though just 2 of 7 from the line.) McNabb, generously listed at 240, drove the lane all night. He was fouled on a layup with 13 seconds remaining, and converted the free throw to give Most Dominant Ever an 89-87 win over the Rockets.
And no, we have no freaking clue why McNabb is playing rec league hoops. ( All photos from Ultimate Hoops' Facebook page.)
