Warren Sapp Says Jeremy Shockey Was The Saints' Bounty Snitch [UPDATE: Shockey Denies!]
Noted Twitter presence and NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp ( @QBKILLA) tweeted earlier that he knows who snitched on the Saints defense's bounty program.
Someone replied, "Shockey...?" And QBKILLA replied "BINGO!" Shockey played for the Saints from 2008-2010. They released him before the 2011 season, dumping money that would have come his way. He's conceivably the snitch.
Yes, CBS's Mike Freeman says that Shockey is not the snitch, but, then again, Freeman doesn't say who the snitch is, and he wouldn't be in a position to know conclusively who the snitch isn't unless he knows who the snitch is.
Alas, we're then back in a position where we're stuck trusting Warren Sapp's sources. God have mercy on us all.
UPDATE (4:05 p.m.): @JeremyShockey has Twitter words for QBKILLA:
