Stop me if you've heard this one before: Ryan Leaf is in jail. No, not because of the charges that landed him there Friday.
According to police, Leaf committed another burglary on Saturday after release on a $76,000 bond Friday afternoon. He faces new drug and burglary charges that look a lot like the old ones.
Two days after posting bail for drug and burglary charges, former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf has been arrested a second time in Montana.
Central Montana Drug Force Commander Chris Hickman says Leaf was arrested early Monday in Great Falls and is facing charges of burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He also is being detained on a probation violation.
If only Leaf had had this kind of perseverance when he was in the NFL.
