Aussie Footballer Robbie Gray Liquefied His Knee
Robbie Gray, the leading goal kicker for Port Adelaide Power last year, suffered this gruesome looking knee injury with less than a minute left to play in a game against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium.
While Gray will be assessed on Monday, club medical staff were almost certain he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
“It’s not good news. Robbie’s an important player to our future,” [Power head coach Mathew] Primus said, adding there was no comparable player ready to step up.
Gray may now only have a future with the team—at the very least, his season is over.
