Richard Marx Goes Yard Off Dennis Eckersley, Chicago Cubs Win World Series

I have no idea how I don't remember this video, because I definitely remember the song. Maybe you don't remember it either. Maybe we buried it deep within our collective subconscious.

Thanks to the good folks at Baseball Prospectus, though, we can now take this jaunt down memory lane. In this video for "Take This Heart," Marx hits a bomb off Eckersley, just over the glove of Ricky Henderson. In hindsight, La Russa probably should have pulled Eck, but it was probably destiny.
