The L.A. Kings Taunted The Devils With Giant Jersey Shore Cutouts Yesterday
We already knew that the L.A. Kings were the most fun team to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals in recent memory, thanks in large part to the team's playful and hilarious Twitter feed and their unique style of play. They're also probably the best team to make it to the Stanley Cup finals in a while—they're the only team in NHL history to hold 3-0 leads in all of their series—so they've earned their fun.
It continued last night during game three when Bailey, the Kings' leonine mascot, decided to tease the Devils about where they're from.
Yes, indeed, that is the Kings' mascot taunting Devils players with gigantic, "The Face Guy"-style cutouts of Jersey Shore cast members. Funny stuff.
Alas, last night's 4-0 victory also suggested the possibility that Bailey has just one game left to tease the Devils. How can he show off in his last stand? I'm thinking cutouts of in-your-face conservative bros who work in finance—I met a lot of those dudes in Jersey this past weekend.
