There's Some Tim Lincecum Voodoo Going On At The Marlins' Bobblehead Museum
We've already highlighted the horrors of Marlins Park's Bobblehead Museum, featuring a moving glass case that keeps the heads bobbling...ever bobbling. But there, in some severed ceramic, may lie the answer to Tim Lincecum's struggles.
Lincecum is still mired in a season-long slump, despite seeking advice from Bruce Bochy, Dave Righetti, Ryan Vogelsong, Barry Zito, Javier Lopez, and even Hector Sanchez, the Giants' rookie backup catcher. Lots of questions with no easy answer, it's even got the 28-year-old "kind of coming to terms with my mortality."
Perhaps there's a little NL gamesmanship going on at the Marlins' ballpark in Little Havana, no stranger to some mysterious esoteric rites. The Giants don't make another trip to Miami this year, but perhaps they can hire a local Santera, or just a guy with a tube of super glue.
Thanks to Briedeke for the photo. Also, they went with the Giants uniform for Randy Johnson? Really, Marlins?
