Red Sox Farmhand Flips Over Wall To Wall To Make Grand Slam-Denying Catch

Jason Repko has spent the bulk of his 13-year career in professional baseball in the minor leagues, and he's logged much of that time in Triple-A, most of it with the Dodgers organization. He played in more than 50 games for the Twins in both 2010 and 2011 before signing a free-agent deal with the Red Sox back in January. He even played five games with the big club in April before being banished to Pawtucket, where he's been ever since.
At age 31, Repko's not going to fashion a major-league career at this point. But he'll always have this catch he made Sunday to rob Kosuke Fukudome (there he is!) of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees of a first-inning grand slam. By rule, Repko was credited with a catch, the play was declared dead, and the runners advanced one base. Which meant Fukudome had to settle for a sacrifice fly, and we got to make a GIF.
