This is just poor. Max Pacioretty notched his first goal of the season in what can generously be described as a wrist shot, modified knuckle-puck, but more accurately described as a dump in.

All the scoring took place in the final period and with less than eight minutes left in the game, Tomas Plekanec gave the Canadiens a 2-0 lead. Less than twenty seconds later Pacioretty—who assisted on the previous goal—tossed the puck from his own half of the ice toward Cam Ward and it hopped its way right into the goal. The Canadiens beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-0.
