OK, I know it’s just Summer League, and I know most of these guys are scrubs, but Bam Adebayo is already the most fun rookie to watch in the NBA:

The highlights from 14th pick Bam and the Heat’s game against TJ Leaf and the Pacers* are a smorgasbord of astounding dunks and impressive ball-handling. In the video above, the incredibly versatile Bam shows off his strength in the low post, slams in put-backs with ease, scores sweet reverse lay-ups, flushes alley-oops, and, perhaps most impressively, steals the ball and makes a coast-to-coast euro-step lay-in.

Of course, there’s a long, long way to go before Bam can do this regularly in an NBA game. But even so, the prospect of Adebayo playing shoulder to shoulder with Hassan Whiteside makes a fun Miami Heat team even more exciting to watch. They won’t be contenders, but they could be must-see TV.

*This post original stated TJ Leaf was a member of the Magic. The game was in Orlando, but he plays for the Pacers.
