Cops: Michigan State Football Recruit Body-Slammed Security Guard

WJBK in Detroit is reporting local star high school quarterback Jayru Campbell, a Cass Tech student committed to play at Michigan State, is in jail on charges related to his body slamming of a school security guard today. Cell phone video of the event doesn't appear to acquit the young man.

Campbell, a junior, earned a school suspension in November for punching an opposing player in the postgame handshake line. He led Cass Tech previously to two straight state championships.
