Eagles Unsure How Riley Cooper Got Black History Month On Team Calendar [Update]
Riley Cooper, you might remember, did this. It was a whole big thing, and not even that long ago! Whatever company the Eagles contracted to make their official 2015 team calendar either didn't remember, or thought it was more prudent to try to get Cooper's appearance over with in the shortest month.
Cooper is Mr. February on the calendar (below, sent to us by reader Rajib), and February is Black History Month . The Eagles spokesperson tells TMZ that "if anything, it was an honest mistake," and the team will investigate how this happened.
Update, 5:40 p.m.: The Eagles have released a statement:
"We do not oversee the production of the annual team calendar. We do not provide any input about the players who are featured or where those pictures appear in the calendar. The NFL licenses the production of that calendar to a third party and we do not have an opportunity to review the material."
