Evander Kane Partied Too Hard At NBA All-Star Weekend, Missed Practice, Suspended One Game
It was a busy Sunday for Sabres winger Evander Kane, who scored in Buffalo’s afternoon win over Colorado, then took a private jet to Toronto for the NBA All-Star Game. It was the busy wee hours of Monday morning that might have done him in, though.
The Sabres announced that Kane “overslept” today’s practice and will not travel with the team for tomorrow’s game in Ottawa.
“He slept in, called Tim and myself, broke a team rule,” said a grim-faced Dan Bylsma. “We’ll be dealing with it internally but he will not be playing in Ottawa. I’m disappointed.”
So where was Kane? Well, saved images from his now-deleted Snapchat tell a fun story.
This marks the second time in a week that hockey players have enjoyed celebrating other sports a little too hard.
