Margaret Court Says She'll Boycott Airline "Where Possible" Over CEO's Support Of Same-Sex Marriage
Photo: Scott Barbour/ [object Object] Margaret Court, an outstanding retired Australian tennis player turned outstandingly annoying Christian pastor, has announced her intention to boycott the airline Qantas because the company’s CEO Alan Joyce recently signed a joint letter calling for marriage equality.
In a letter to The West Australian, the 74-year-old Court wrote that the CEO’s statement “leaves [her] no option but to use other airlines where possible for [her] extensive traveling.”
Martina Navratilova, a lesbian who has commented on Court’s reckless remarks before, seemed amused:
Take heed, companies, or Court may decide to boycott your services as long as it’s not too inconvenient for her.
