Peyton Manning's Hairline Is A Lie
Eagle-eyed reader Jim writes in that an ad campaign on ESPN.com features multiple Peyton Manning hairlines scattered amongst inane takes by Stephen A. Smith and fantasy football promotions. The former NFL QB is shilling for some brand you’ve never heard of, and when we checked for ourselves we found inconsistencies even among instances on ESPN’s homepage—so we went straight to the brand’s website, and grabbed the promo PNGs they provided for press coverage. Yup:
We’d love to know the conversation that led to some graphic artist, somewhere, painting hair onto Peyton Manning’s forehead in order to make him come across as a more valuable brandbot.
