Tennis Player Tennys Sandgren Melts Down During Ump Dispute

Tennys Sandgren, the Pizzagater with a cute name, let loose on an ump during Thursday’s 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 loss to Cameron Norrie at the Cary Challenger, after what appeared to be a baseless accusation of illegal coaching. (Players are not allowed to get feedback from coaches mid-match.)

Someone had been talking to Sandgren from the stands, but as commentator Mike Cation explained, the man in question, Peter Lucassen, has no connection to Sandgren. The accused was furious. “Do I look like I have a coach?” the world No. 98 shouted.

Man, it must suck to be repeatedly accused of something without any real evidence.
