The Moment Lightning Struck At A High School Football Game

A game between Orlando University High School and Boone HS was called off Friday night at halftime. You can see why.

These are stills from video shot by a band member's father, and obtained by the Orlando Sentinel. The bolt struck a tree just beyond the field, pretty much searing it clean. The game was delayed for an hour as fans took cover under the bleachers, then called off altogether.
