Balanced attack fuels Marlins past Phillies

Mandatory Credit: Kyle Ross-USA TODAY Sports Jake Burger homered, singled twice and drove in two runs while Bryan De La Cruz hit a single, double and knocked in three runs to lift the Miami Marlins past the host Philadelphia Phillies 7-4 on Thursday.
Josh Bell added an RBI double and Ali Sanchez had two hits.
Marlins starter Trevor Rogers gave up six hits and three runs with four strikeouts and four walks in six innings.
Anthony Bender (3-2) earned the win in relief and Tanner Scott threw a scoreless ninth inning for his 11th save.
Rafael Marchan hit a solo home run and Trea Turner contributed two hits and three runs scored for the Phillies.
Edmundo Sosa added two hits and Bryce Harper hit an RBI double. Harper appeared to injure his hamstring running to first base to end the game. Kyle Schwarber left in the top of the ninth with left groin tightness.
Phillies starter Zack Wheeler tossed 6 2/3 innings and allowed seven hits and two runs with five strikeouts and two walks. Wheeler threw 115 pitches, 74 for strikes.
Jeff Hoffman (3-1) took the loss.
Otto Lopez singled with two outs in the seventh inning and Sanchez followed with a single to put runners at first and third. Matt Strahm replaced Wheeler and hit Jazz Chisholm Jr. to load the bases. De La Cruz cleared the bases with a three-run double to tie the score 3-3. Bell followed with an RBI double to give the Marlins a 4-3 lead.
Alec Bohm hit an RBI sacrifice fly to right to tie the score 4-4 in the seventh.
Burger's solo homer and a fielding error by Sosa gave the Marlins a 6-4 advantage in the eighth.
Burger added an RBI single in the ninth for a 7-4 lead.
In the bottom of the first inning, Turner walked with one out and Harper followed with an RBI double to right field to give the Phillies a 1-0 lead. It extended Harper's hitting streak to 12 in a row.
In the fourth, Marchan crushed a solo home run to left field with two outs for a 2-0 advantage.
Sanchez singled with one out in the fifth, but Chisholm grounded into a 6-3 double play.
The Phillies went ahead 3-0 in the bottom of the fifth when Sosa hit an RBI single to left.
