Bears Fan Tasers Packers-Fan Wife After Monday Night Football Bet
John Grant is a Bears fan. His wife is a Packers fan. The two made a friendly bet before last night's game. Whoever's team won, they would get to use a stun gun on the other. It's a very NFC North love story.
A 12:39 a.m. a Mayville (Wisc.) Police officer responded to Dan's King Pin, 31 N. Main St., to speak to a woman who reported that her husband had used a stun gun on her three times while at Sidelines Tap, 111 S. Main St.
The wife said that while the two were smoking cigarettes outside of Sidelines, Grant had used the stun gun twice on her butt and once on her thigh.
It's unclear why police were called, since this was entirely voluntary. (Grant's wife even showed the responding officer cell phone video of the tasing, because of course you have to film it.) But Grant was still arrested and charged with the illegal use of an electric weapon.
Pertinent information: Grant's BAC was .137, while his wife's was .155. At least the Packers won something.
