Also, guard Jaden Ivey is dealing with left knee soreness and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Collins, 28, averaged 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 10 games off the bench this season.
He has contributed 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 388 career games (83 starts) with the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and Bulls.
Collins was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga and traded to the Trail Blazers on draft night.
Ivey, who turned 24 on Feb. 13, has averaged 11.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in four games (three starts) since being acquired from the Detroit Pistons earlier this month.
He was Detroit's first-round pick (fifth overall) in 2022. He missed significant time last season with a broken leg and more time this season with a knee injury.
