Bumbling Defensive Play Is The Cubs In A Nutshell
The Cubs are playing a game against the St. Louis Cardinals today, and it didn't take them long to go full Cubs on everyone's ass.
With two men on and two outs in the first inning, outfielder Jon Jay sliced a ball down that line that Chris Coghlan couldn't get a handle on. Coghlan proceeded to do that thing where you spin around helplessly, looking for something that you know is right next to you, but you can't find it because you're a pathetic fool. Once he finally got the ball, he fired it to cutoff man Starlin Castro, who in the middle of his throw became convinced that he was holding a live grenade.
All around, a pretty Cubs play.
