Canucks Fans Get Their Hearts Stomped In Realtime
As many away teams do when there's a chance to clinch ( the Mavs did it), the Canucks hosted a viewing party for fans at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. NHL.com decided it would be a fun idea to set up a livecam to capture crowd reactions.
Then the Bruins went and scored four goals in 4:14, a finals record. The Rogers Arena livecam turned into something more like a snuff film. Someone in the control room eventually took notice of the carnage, and pulled out to a wider shot for the rest of the game. But before that happened, I grabbed a few screenshots. Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the broken people of Vancouver.
Heading for the exits, with just 45 minutes of ice time left.
