Capitals sign first-round pick Terik Parascak

The Washington Capitals signed first-round draft pick Terik Parascak to a three-year, entry-level contract with an average annual value of $975,000, the team announced Friday.
Parascak, the 17th overall pick of the NHL draft last month, is a 6-foot forward who played last season for the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League.
