Coby Fleener Stayed On The Field After This Helmet-To-Helmet Hit
The Saints’ Coby Fleener took the textbook definition of a helmet-to-helmet hit on a defenseless receiver from Blake Countess in the fourth quarter of the Rams-Saints game, but despite the apparent damage caused, Fleener got right back up.
According to the CBS broadcast, Fleener was not checked by the Saints for a concussion. Since no whistle was blown for an injury timeout (Fleener didn’t stay down), he was able to stay in for the next play.
