College Hoops Compendium: Score One For Antagonism

• West Virginia 70, (2) UCLA 65. Country fuckin' Rooooads... Take me the fuck home... Sorry. That t-shirt inspires me. Arron Afflalo's 27 weren't enough to help UCLA get the win, but when they're on the road, it seems like nothing is good enough to help them win. All three of their losses are of the road variety, this one in a place that has a student section described by the AP article as "antagonistic." Yes, I think that's accurate.

• (1) Florida 64, (18) Kentucky 61. Any kind of a decent shooting performance would've earned a win for Kentucky. But they went 38% from the floor, and 14% from three-range, and Florida got their fifth straight win against Kentucky. As poorly as the Wildcats shot, they still had a chance to tie it at the end... but Ramel Bradley's three clanked, and as punishment, you all have to watch this.

• Arizona 77, (15) Oregon 74. Oregon hit a three to take the lead with 22 seconds to play... and the players looked to the bench for some sign of inspiration from their coach. What they saw was a man who had fallen to the ground, and was clutching his arm in pain, because he somehow found a way to goon up his rotator cuff. As it turns out, they weren't inspired by his buffoonery, and they went on to lose. Freshman Chade Budinger with 30 and 10.

• Wright State 77, Butler 65. Wright State, who are the Raiders, but have some kind of a dog in their logo (I guess there's nothing preventing dogs from also being Raiders), upset the 9th-ranked Butler Bulldogs. The win actually puts Wright State a half game up in the Horizon League Standings, despite having lost five more games than the Bulldogs. DaShaun Wood had 30 for the dogs who raid things.
