Defending champ Tadej Pogacar wins Tour de France Stage 4

Three-time and defending Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar collected his first stage win of this year's race in Stage 4 on Tuesday in Rouen.
It is the 18th stage win in the Tour de France and the 100th professional win for the Slovenian star, who attacked on the steepest slopes of the hilly 174.2-kilometer route from Amiens Metropole.
He finished ahead of Mathieu van der Poel with two-time champion Jonas Vingegaard in third place in Stage 4.
Van der Poel retained the overall leader's yellow jersey but Pogacar is now level on time. Vingegaard is in third.
American Matteo Jorgenson climbed one spot into fourth place through four stages.
Stage 5 on Wednesday features this year's first individual time trial and will begin and end in Caen. International cycling's premier 21-stage race will conclude on July 27 in Paris.
