Donovan McNabb Sentenced To 18 Days In Jail For DUI
Back in late June, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb was arrested in Gilbert, Az. after he rear-ended another car at a stoplight. Yesterday he received his sentence from the case and will have to serve 18 days in an Arizona jail.
TMZ Sports reports that McNabb’s BAC was 0.17 at the time of arrest and that he will also have to spend 72 additional days in home detention, in addition to a fine and community service. The sentence likely carries the jail time because this is McNabb’s second DUI, although he has been granted a daytime work release while incarcerated.
In December 2013, he was arrested in a different part of Arizona and also got a DUI after he was caught speeding. In that case, McNabb served one day of jail time.
