Falcons, FURIA to meet in BLAST Rivals Fall final
Team Falcons successfully defended their Club Championship title at the 2025 Esports World Cup. Team Falcons and FURIA continued their unbeaten march to Sunday's best-of-five grand final at the $350,000 BLAST Rivals Fall event in Hong Kong.
The two group stage winners swept their semifinal matches on Saturday, with Falcons eliminating Team Vitality and FURIA knocking out paiN Gaming.
Falcons won 16-13 on Inferno and 13-7 on Nuke. Their lineup includes in-game leader Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski of Macedonia, Denmark's Rene "TeSeS" Madsen, Bosnia's Nikola "NiKo" Kovac, and Russians Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin.
FURIA won 13-3 on Nuke and 16-12 on Overpass. Their roster features in-game leader Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo of Brazil, Danil "molodoy" Golubenko of Kazakhstan, Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis of Latvia, and Brazilians Yuri "yuurih" Santos and Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato.
Eight teams began the Counter-Strike 2 tournament on Wednesday. Sunday's champion will take home a top prize of $125,000 with $75,000 going to the runner-up.
