This Jokio review takes a detailed look at one of the most interesting platforms I’ve ever come across. Although it looks like a sweepstakes casino site, it’s not – it’s technically a parimutuel betting site involving real money wagers.

Well, all of them are animated, as opposed to live dealer games. Don’t be put off by the unorthodox mechanics – Jokio is completely legal and above board. In fact, the platform is only set up this way precisely because it makes real money gambling legal in jurisdictions where it wouldn’t otherwise be allowed.
Take California, for instance – a state that doesn’t allow any form of online casino gaming, whether it’s for real money, or using a sweepstakes model. If Jokio’s games were powered by the usual RNG systems, they’d be illegal in the Golden State. But they’re not – you’re technically placing parimutuel bets on horse racing, so it’s all good.
