Things have certainly picked up in the Manchester/Arsenal tilt. Adebayor somehow converted a bending cross from Van Persie to give the visitors the crucial first goal. Rio Ferdianand nearly compounded Manchester's problems by putting one in his own net, but van der Sar was game for his teammates challenge. Shortly thereafter United struck back when Gallas was carded for a hand ball in the area, with Ronaldo burying the penalty past the outstretched Lehman. Both teams have gone to the bench and Arsenal are hoping that Theo Walcott can help reclaim the lead. Update after the jump...
Owen Hargreaves surprised everyone on the pitch by taking a quick free kick that found it's way into the corner of the goal before most even noticed.
And it's all over for Arsenal. They had chances to tie it up, but that probably wouldn't have been enough. It's now down to Chelsea to unseat the Red Devils.
