The Grizzlies overcame an early eight-point deficit and led by as many as 25 points en route to their first home win after losing their first eight in Memphis.
Desmond Bane contributed 17 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals. Ziaire Williams totaled 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench, and Derrick Rose had 14 points and nine assists as the Grizzlies picked up their fourth win.
John Collins scored 17 points to lead the Jazz. Utah shot only 37.8% — compared to Memphis' 49.4% shooting — and had only three players reached double figures in scoring.
Simone Fontecchio and Jordan Clarkson each scored 12 points for Utah, which had won two in a row.
The Jazz made a late run and pulled within 16 after Collins hit a smooth layup cutting it to 92-76 with just under three minutes gone in the fourth. But the Grizzlies cruised to the win despite only scoring two points in the final five and a half minutes.
Utah led 15-7 after back-to-back 3s from George and Collins, but the Grizzlies then used a 15-4 run to take a 22-19 lead.
The Jazz responded to regain a slim lead, 25-24, by the end of the quarter before Memphis blew the game open with a 36-17 second quarter. David Roddy hit three 3s in the period to boost the Grizzlies to a 60-42 halftime lead.
Bane, Roddy and Jackson Jr. combined to score the first seven points of the second half to give Memphis a 67-42 lead less than two minutes into the third quarter.
The Jazz played without leading scorer Lauri Markkanen (left hamstring soreness) for the third consecutive game.
