Grizzlies sign Vince Williams Jr. to 3-year deal

The team did not disclose terms, but ESPN reported the deal is worth $7.9 million guaranteed, believed to be the most guaranteed money given to a player who was on a two-way contract.
The Grizzlies selected Williams in the second round of the 2022 draft out of VCU.
In a corresponding move, the team waived center Bismack Biyombo.
Williams, 23, is averaging 5.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 27 games (eight starts) this season.
Biyombo was in his first season with the Grizzlies, averaging 5.2 points and 6.4 rebounds in 30 games (27 starts).
