Grizzlies standout Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) out week-to-week

Mandatory Credit: Petre Thomas-Imagn Images Memphis Grizzlies All-Star forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain and is considered week-to-week, the team announced Tuesday.
Jackson was injured in the first quarter of the Grizzlies' 132-130 home loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. He was hurt while trying to block a shot by Dyson Daniels of the Hawks.
Jackson is averaging a team-high 22.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in 59 games (all starts) this season and made the All-Star team for the second time in his career. He has 111 3-pointers, 97 blocked shots and 74 steals.
Jackson was NBA Defensive Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season. He made his first All-Star Game that season.
In seven NBA seasons, Jackson is averaging 18.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.9 blocked shots and 1.0 steals in 392 games (383 starts).
Also, Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (shoulder) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Morant missed the past two games.
