LaVar Ball Talks About Disciplining Kids With Belt, Immediately Explains He Doesn't Actually Do So
LaVar Ball gave an extensive interview to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman this morning, wherein he discussed hypothetical future NBA plans for his three teen sons (two of whom have never played college basketball), his wife’s recovery from a stroke she suffered three months ago, and how he disciplines his sons, once with a “belt or something.” He also says that he gave Lonzo “a couple of hits upside the head” after he once missed curfew.
He later clarified that he only hit his sons once:
“I spanked them once,” Ball said. “To let them know there are repercussions at times. But my boys are respectful, and usually my voice is enough.”
