Missouri sports bettors looking forward to trying the Fanatics Sportsbook app can start preparing for the Show Me State’s December 1 sports betting launch. Users can download it on iOS and Android devices. Fanatics is one of nine operators to receive a temporary license from the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC). This will bring the total to 23 states, plus the District of Columbia, where the brand is available.
Besides DraftKings and Circa, the two operators that received untethered licenses, MGC regulations require sportsbook operators to partner with a land-based casino or a Missouri professional sports team. Fanatics has partnered up with Boyd Gaming, and retail sports betting will be available at two land-based casinos operated by Boyd.
One of the things that makes Fanatics unique is that users can unlock FanCash that can be redeemed for apparel, exclusive shopping experiences, bonus bets, and more.
Like the other Missouri sports betting apps, new Fanatics Sportsbook customers can choose their own offer at signup. They range from deposit $50 and get 15 days of up to $200 No Sweat Bets (up to $3,000 FanCash) to bet $30 and get $300 FanCash. These are available during the pre-registration period leading up to launch day.
Those bets can be used on NFL, NBA, NCAA Football, NCAA basketball, or UFC markets. This is a small sampling of the betting menus that will be available come December 1. No matter what users decide to wager on, players can earn up to 10% FanCash on wagers and unlock the world of Fanatics.
Additionally, as a way of welcoming new Missouri sports bettors, Fanatics will be launching an exclusive three-day FanCash drop. This plinko-style game will award FanCash to new customers.
Like in its other markets, Missouri gamblers will find Fanatics Sportsbook’s Fair Play player prop protection. It basically provides a lifeline to customers when their bets are impacted by player injuries across all pro sports. The Fair Play injury protection covers the entire first half of professional football and basketball games.
Earlier this season, Fanatics refunded more than $1 million to bettors after Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka left a game with a hamstring injury. Customers received cash refunds for single Egbuka player prop bets, whether it was a pre-game or in-game wager. Customers who had an Egbuka prop bet as part of a parlay had the leg.
This allowed the rest of the parlay to play out. For one gambler, the Fair Play protection kept the door open to win a six-leg parlay with a $27k payout.
Fanatics’ market access deal with Boyd Gaming will include retail sportsbooks at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles and Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City. Both are opening on December 1.
Ameristar’s St. Charles location will feature two betting windows, 12 self-service betting kiosks, 10 TV monitors, and a giant LED video wall. Operating hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. CT on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. CT on weekends.
The Ameristar KC location will have the same hours. Guests will have access to three betting windows, 12 self-service betting kiosks, 10 TV monitors, and a giant LED video wall.
