FanDuel and Main Street Sports Group, owner of FanDuel Sports Network, announced the launch of bet tracking. This new interactive viewing feature allows fans in select markets to follow their FanDuel Sportsbook bets in real time while watching live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network.
This new offering is available in markets where online sports betting is legal, including Missouri. St. Louis Blues games are among those that now include the bet tracking technology. Fans of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes, and Nashville Predators can also enjoy the new viewing experience as well.
In terms of NBA games, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, and Memphis Grizzlies broadcasts include this feature.
Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports, FanDuel, said integrating Bet Tracking into live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network represents another significant milestone in the partnership.’ He highlighted the company’s commitment to “delivering an unparalleled viewing experience to fans.”
“Over the past year, our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network has elevated our brand presence, deepened engagement across our products, and proven the impact of combining live local sports with interactive technology,” Raffensperger said. “We look forward to continuing this successful partnership and exploring new ways to collaborate in the future as we remain committed to driving innovation at the intersection of sports entertainment and betting.”
This interactive technology is even a bigger deal for a new mobile sports betting market like Missouri, which went live on December 1. FanDuel was one of eight operators that were part of launch day. Based on early feedback from geolocation provider GeoComply, there were more than 2.6 million geolocation checks, and over a quarter-million active accounts were recorded that day.
FanDuel customers who decide to use the bet tracking innovation will enjoy account linking capabilities. This means fans can link their FanDuel Sportsbook account directly to FanDuel Sport Network to enable the bet tracking feature. It simplifies the ability to toggle between the two offerings.
During nightly NBA and NHL broadcasts, the expanded on-screen odds integration provides bettors with up-to-date information in markets where the tool is available. This experience is something FanDuel rolled out earlier this year when the company announced a partnership with Amazon to become the official odds provider and partner of the NBA and WNBA on Prime.
With Missouri being the newest legal U.S. sports betting market, there is a joint FanDuel Sportsbook activation component. This includes on-air integrations and promotions along with VIP experiences connected to the Show Me State’s recent legalization of online sports betting.
Additionally, FanDuel Sports Network might share exclusive offers such as a Bet $5, get three months on us promotion. So customers who make a $5 wager using FanDuel Sportsbook or enter any FD daily fantasy sports contest will receive a trial subscription to FanDuel Sports Network’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.
FanDuel and FanDuel Sports Network formed their partnership last fall, and the deal included rebranding 15 regional networks. In-game odds integrations were launched for Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers games.
The two companies have made a shared commitment to responsible gaming. This includes FanDuel Sports Network using its reach to encourage viewers to use the sportsbook’s RG tools such as setting limits, deposit alerts, and self-exclusion.
Main Street Sports Group Chief Revenue Officer Eric Ratchman noted that in markets where both products are available, they’ve seen meaningful, sustained growth.
“Fans who engage with FanDuel’s on-screen integrations are watching nearly twice as many games per season and staying connected with our product more than 40 days longer on average,” Ratchman said. “That level of engagement underscores the power of how this partnership is helping shape the future of local sports viewing.”
