FIFA has announced that it has selected Stats Perform as its first-ever official betting data and betting streaming rights distributor. The multi-year agreement grants Stats Perform exclusive rights to distribute official betting data and live streams for selected FIFA properties, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is taking place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil is another event that is included in the agreement.
Stat Perform’s agile RunningBall team will collect and exclusively distribute ultrafast official FIFA betting data to licensed sports betting operators for modeling, trading, and in-play front-end use for the competitions covered in the agreement. The company’s globally trusted Opta team will exclusively provide official player statistics, insights, live scores, and match trackers to sportsbooks.
Stats Perform shares its data with several big-name sportsbooks and daily fantasy sports operators. Bet365, DraftKings, and FanDuel are among the U.S. brands that have worked with the company. DraftKings and FanDuel have both used Stats Perform’s sports data feeds in their DFS products.
Romy Gai, FIFA Chief Business Officer, talked about how his organization is delighted to be partnering with a global leader in sports data.
“This innovative partnership will create great opportunities to deliver official products for the game and its fans,” Gai said.
Stats Perform’s integrity team will provide support to FIFA integrity regarding Member Association content on FIFA+.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 through July 19. As far as U.S. cities go, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey are some of the cities that are hosting games.
Quarterfinal games will be played at four different locations, one of which is Missouri – the newest legal U.S. sports betting jurisdiction. Missouri sports betting launched on December 1 with eight sportsbook operators that included bet365, DraftKings, and FanDuel.
Dallas and Atlanta are the host cities for the semifinal round. MetLife Stadium – home of the NFL’s New York Jets and Giants – is where the FIFA World Cup Final will be played.
With a record 48 teams competing, it’s expected to be one of the year’s biggest sports betting events along with the Super Bowl and March Madness. DraftKings’ World Cup betting menu is already live with team futures, group betting odds, match lines, player futures, and more.
Betting on NFL and NCAA games is a big deal, especially with the playoffs underway, is a big deal for American sports bettors. Just in New Jersey alone, the year-to-date handle for completed football events was $1.5 billion through November.
Soccer, also known as football in other parts of the world, generates similar betting interest. When it’s the FIFA World Cup that only comes around once every four years, sportsbooks across the U.S. treat it like a major betting event in which content is constantly being added months before the first match takes place.
Stats Perform CEO Carl Megele summed it up by saying “FIFA competitions represent the pinnacle of the world’s biggest game.”
“We share FIFA’s vision to help the magic of the beautiful game be felt more deeply, by more fans, worldwide.”
