One is $273.2 million, which is the combined monthly revenue produced by the more than two dozen New Jersey online casino operators. It also happens to be a new monthly record, topping October’s $260.3 million.
The second is $2.91 billion. That would be the total revenue produced by
the Garden State iGaming operators during 2025. It marks a 22% increase from the $2.39 billion reported one year earlier.
New Jersey’s total 2025 gaming revenue, which includes Atlantic City’s nine land-based casinos and sports betting, came out to $6.98, up 10.8% from the $6.3 billion reported in 2024. The iGaming sector was the biggest contributor to the grand total, accounting for nearly 42% of the total gaming revenue. By comparison, the $2.89 billion earned from Atlantic City slots and table games made up 41.4%
Last year was the closest NJ online casinos have come to cracking the $3-billion plateau since the industry went live more than a decade ago. Over the last five years alone, the sector’s upward trajectory has gone from earning $1.37 billion in 2021 to $2.91 four years later.
The most recent results also happen to be the first time ever that annual online gambling revenue surpassed land-based earnings.
James T. Plousis, Chairman of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, issued a statement that provided insight on how both sectors are succeeding.
“Atlantic City’s annual casino win grew 2.7% compared to 2024, achieving its best result since 2012 – demonstrating that in-person and online gaming can succeed together,” Plousis said.
