Pennsylvania set a new record in gambling revenue in May with $601.8 million, driven by strong performances in online casino, especially slots and table games. The previous record was $574.5 million, which was set in March of this year. Two record-setting months in the same year highlight the continued growth of iGaming in Pennsylvania.

FanDuel is still the clear leader in the Pennsylvania market, becoming the only operator to rack up over $20 million in revenue in May through its partnership with Valley Forge Casino Resort. Below, you’ll see the gross revenue for March to May in Pennsylvania.
| Operator | March 2025 | April 2025 | May 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|
| FanDuel | $9.4 million | $20.1 million | $28.4 million |
| DraftKings | $8.8 million | $12.1 million | $15.7 million |
| Fanatics | $1.1 million | $1.2 million | $2.8 million |
| ESPN BET | $1.5 million | $1.7 million | $2.6 million |
| bet365 | $0.3 million | $1.9 million | $2.3 million |
But we’re starting to see the market shift with the third to fifth ranked operators in Pennsylvania.
Fanatics continues to obtain more market share in Pennsylvania, which is what we’ve also seen from the operator in both New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Partnered with Hollywood Casino York, Fanatics has seen its revenue increase from $1.1 million in March to $1.2 million in April, all the way to $2.8 million this past month. Similar to Fanatics, ESPN BET has jumped from $1.5 million in March to $1.7 million in April and now $2.6 million in May.
Finally, the latest report shows growth for bet365, jumping from $0.3 million (March) to $1.9 million (April) and now $2.3 million in May.
How these operators are making waves in the Keystone State are distinct. As an online sportsbook with a unique rewards program where users can rack up FanCash with each bet to exchange for sports merchandise, Fanatics appears to be leveraging its position in sports apparel effectively.
Meanwhile, despite a slow start to ESPN’s dive into online sports betting, it seems like the operator is finally gaining market share. In the case of bet365, an experienced platform that has succeeded in other markets, its gains in the sports betting market in Pennsylvania are unsurprising.
