Madison Square Garden May Be On Fire [UPDATE: Everything Is Fine]

The first to note it, that we're aware of, was @NYScanner, which an hour ago sent out the message, "Manhattan: Box 0706 at 8 Penn Plaza at Madison Square Garden. FDNY Using all hands for a fire on the 6 floor." @BuffNetwork (a Twitter account that posts pictures of firefighting in the tri-state area) posted this photo of a smoky MSG arena shortly thereafter, and then everyone on Twitter started making jokes about Isiah Thomas causing the fire, and hey, where is fire-extinguisher-glass-punching Amar'e Stoudemire is when you need him?
This is at least the second time this summer that fire has broken out at Madison Square Garden—on June 18, a fire on the ninth floor raged for less than an hour before being put out. This one seems bigger, and is closer to arena level. Depending on the fire's progression, the smoke alone shouldn't change all that much in the Garden's upcoming schedule—if you call their public number right now, an automated voice will tell you, "There are no events scheduled at Madison Square Garden this week as the transformation of the arena continues."
There have been no reported injuries as of yet, but from what we know, the fire is not yet under control. We will update when we know more, and if you happen to be on the scene, let us know how it looks.
Update, 6:41 p.m.: Looks like everything is okay. DNAinfo.com reports that there were no injuries, and it only took firefighters about an hour to get the blaze under control. You can stop despairing (or reveling in schadenfreude).
