If you are hoping to rip Marvel cards online, then your options are rather limited. Sadly, Marvel cards fall into the niche category, and are not recognised in the same way as some more popular card franchises.
Despite that, we have managed to find two sites with Marvel cards available. Each of them offers a completely different card rip experience, which we’ll explain in more detail through this guide. It’s also worth noting that card break sites are still a relatively new phenomenon, and as such the situation may well change in time.
Naturally, we want you to enjoy the best Marvel card break experience possible. As the two brands we’ve tracked down offer completely different opportunities, we’ve provided some basic information about each in the table below.
| Card Break Platform | Welcome bonus | What you can rip | Key features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Topps “Marvel Collect” app | One free pack containing 5 Tier 1 Base Cards | Availability varies | Digital cards only – rip, trade, swap with other users | Casual collectors |
| Fanatics Live app only | Free ‘Debut Pack’ one card free | Availability varies | Physical cards – via live stream card breaks hosted by individual Sellers | All types of collectors |
As we’ve already mentioned briefly, Marvel card breaks are not widely available, whereas Pokemon card rips seem to pop up everywhere. Until such time as the situation changes, we can only suggest exploring these two brands.
Perhaps because Topps also produces numerous collectible cards, the brand has decided on a very different approach to certain CCG cards, including Marvel. In short, you will need to download the “Marvel Collect” app which is available for most Android and iOS devices.
There are certain limitations to consider:
If you decide to download the app, you’ll need to work through an introduction program, but as a reward you’ll receive a free pack of Marvel cards which contains five Tier 1 (White) Base Cards.
There are various activities available, which allow you to ‘buy’ into card rips with virtual currencies, and trade your cards, or swap unwanted cards with other users.
You will need to download the Fanatics live app, but it does cover all types of cards in one place. One of the first things that happens is that you’ll be able to collect a ‘Debut Pack’ which awards you one free (random) card via your own live stream.
From there, you have the choice of viewing live stream Marvel card breaks, which are hosted by individual Sellers, or you can head to the Marketplace where you’ll find individual slabs.
In either case, availability varies. As an example, we found Marvel cards in both areas, but when we looked for League of Legends card rips, we came up short, as they were only available individually via the Marketplace.
Fanatics Live offers the choice of keeping the Marvel cards you pull in a secure vault, selling them back to the site, or having physical cards shipped to your home.
When it comes to reviewing any card break site, regardless of whether the brand focuses on the best Magic card breaks, or offers individual Marvel slabs to purchase, there are certain things we always check.

To avoid duplicating the more detailed information we’ve provided in other parts of this guide, we’ll keep things short and sweet here by recapping the main ways CCG sites offer Marvel cards.
We are not trying to put all Marvel card collectors into the same bracket, but there are generally more people that collect various Marvel card sets for fun, rather than their potential value. To add context, collectors who seek One Piece card breaks are typically looking for specific cards to complete a collection, or card rips with a good probability of pulling a rare card.
As a casual Marvel card collector, you may well prefer the fun element that an option like the Topps’ Marvel Collect app provides. Although the cards you collect will only exist on your mobile device, there’s plenty of fun beyond the cards themselves.
For those in the minority who are serious about completing their Marvel card sets, a site like Fanatics Live not only provides more Marvel card rip opportunities, it also offers the availability of verified physical cards.
While there are always many positives and negatives to consider, there are three things that consistently spring to mind as Marvel card collectors ourselves.
First and foremost we recommend that you avoid live Marvel rips that take place on channels like TikTok, YouTube, and WhatNot etc. There’s no guarantee you’ll receive the card you pull, or receive anything at all. Stick to the reputable sites on our page banners for best results.
Decide on your level of commitment as a Marvel collector. If you want to dip in and out when you have the time, then the Topps Marvel Collect will suit you perfectly. Most other alternatives need constant monitoring to find Marvel card rips.
Lastly, for as much as it might seem basic, weighing up the potential cost of buying into multiple card breaks vs purchasing an individual slab requires consideration. Over time, the former can easily exceed the one-off cost of the latter, without you even noticing.

So far we’ve shown you two different sites (apps) that list Marvel cards. Both have different registration processes. Furthermore, if you were to check out another site that may feature Marvel cards, the exact procedure might be different again.
But let’s assume for the moment that you’ve decided on one of the card break sites featured on our page banners. If so, there are some things that rarely change, so we’ll focus on those here.

Considering their massive popularity, Marvel cards are very much under-represented on card break sites. The only two sites where Marvel cards are routinely available are the Topps ‘Marvel Collect’ app, and Fanatics Live.
The former offers a more social angle, where only digital cards are ripped, traded, or sold. The latter option is where you’ll find live-streamed Marvel card breaks hosted by individual Sellers who will ship physical Marvel cards you pull. Depending on your level of commitment as a collector, neither brand is lacking in any way, so feel free to use the links on our page banners to explore either.
The Marvel card collecting community mainly consists of people who acquire them as a fun pastime, rather than seriously. As such, Marvel card rips are not widely available on most dedicated card break sites. However, you can collect, trade, and swap digital-only Marvel cards via the Topps ‘ Marvel Collect’ app, or buy into live card rips at Fanatics Live.
Marvel cards are not classified in the same way as franchises like Pokemon, or Naruto. There are certainly Marvel cards that avid collectors look for, but most of those are associated with vintage Marvel releases, or limited-edition cards from later sets.
Assuming that you are looking at reputable sites for either option, there are still pros and cons for both. Essentially, it’s a case of weighing up the chance of pulling a card that exceeds the cost of buying into a card break vs receiving a specific, verified card.
