This brand just launched in May of 2026, but it’s already a quickly growing platform for Pokémon card enthusiasts. Does it live up to the hype? That’s what you’ll find out in my TiltRips review below.
This is a great platform both for those who want to purchase a specific card in the marketplace, or for those who enjoy purchasing packs and ripping cards. The process is transparent, and each digital rip is backed by the real physical card, which you can ship, keep or sell. Read on to find out what the experience is like.
This brand provides card-ripping fun with an exclusive focus on Pokémon cards. The feature that sets this brand apart from other brands is the on-demand ripping, meaning collectors don’t need to spend time watching livestreams to see their results. Collectors get further instant gratification by deciding whether to vault the card, sell it back instantly to the platform, ship it, or sell it on the marketplace. On top of these features, the brand was developed by a well-known poker player and entrepreneur, Sam Kiki, which adds to the legitimacy of the platform.
That’s a quick overview. Let’s jump into the details to see if this site is a good fit for you.

The headline here is that this site offers Pokémon packs with a 100% EV (expected value), which means it returns 100% of the pack price in card value. TiltRips is a perfect platform for Pokemon fans, and no one else. So if you’re into NFL trading card rips, TiltRips is not the place to look.
This brand exclusively deals in Pokémon cards, which range from being worth a few dollars, all the way up to $100,000 or more. You’ll find everything on this site from modern “Scarlet and Violet” sets, all the way up to 1999 Wizard of the Coast grails. These cards are largely slabbed and graded by PSA. When you click on a card, you’ll get its verification certificate through PSA (or BGS in some cases) alongside its history and provenance.
Here’s a quick overview – just a bit later I’ll get into some specifics:
| Product Type | Available | Selection |
|---|---|---|
| Sports Cards | ❌ | — |
| Pokémon Cards | ✅ | Modern & Vintage |
| Magic Cards | ❌ | — |
| One Piece | ❌ | — |
| Singles | ✅ | Limited, available in the marketplace |
| Booster Boxes | ❌ | — |
| Cases | ❌ | — |
You’ll find over a half a dozen price options, with higher prices for higher-tiered packs as follows:
For each pack, you’ll see the volatility level, along with the percentage chance of opening cards of a specific value. For example, the $25 Starter Pack has a medium “Speculative” volatility level, with pack contents that break down as follows:
In addition, you’ll see about a dozen of the top prizes in the pack, so you know exactly what you have a chance of winning. For example, here are examples of some of the cards available in the $25 Start Pack when I was creating this TiltRips review:
It’s worth noting that some of the top cards are available across more than one pack, but with different volatility levels and chances of winning.
To me, the best part of the opening experience is the instant gratification, as all rips are completed instantly and digitally. Since TiltRips is legit – which I’ll discuss in more detail shortly – I trust that any cards I pull digitally are done so in a fair manner. The ripping animations, along with the site design as a whole, provide a retro feel, like you’re playing in an arcade back in the 80s. Overall, this is a fun experience, and I appreciate the transparency.
Once you start ripping cards at card breaks sites like TiltRips, you need to figure out what you’ll do with them. After your TiltRips rips, you’re going to have multiple options:
Let’s take a closer look:
Your card is automatically vaulted (stored) free of charge until you decide that you want to do something different with it. Many people who plan on getting their cards shipped will vault the cards until they have several to ship, which saves on shipping charges.
Another option for your pulled cards is to have the physical card shipped to you. You’ll pay shipping charges (which I’ll cover in the next section), plus it can take up to six weeks for your card to arrive.
The third option is to sell your card back to the site, which happens instantly. You’ll get 90% of the value of the card, and the amount will be credited to your account instantly. You then have the option of using the credits for site purchases, or you can withdraw your funds.
The final option is to list your card in the marketplace so that you can trade with other members of the site. While you can set your own price, of course it may take time for your card to sell. One nice feature of the marketplace is that it lists the complete history of every card – so if you happen to be interested in purchasing someone else’s card, you’ll know when it was bought and sold, and for how much.
So now that you know your options, let’s take a look at what types of payment options are available for buying cards, as well as some of the fees you can expect for certain activities.
You’ll have multiple options available to you for both depositing and withdrawing funds from your account. Let’s start with an overview:
| Payment method | Deposits? (Minimum amount) | Deposit fees | Withdrawals available? (Speed) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Pay | Yes ($10) | 3.2% | No |
| Google Pay | Yes ($10) | 3.2% | No |
| Visa/Mastercard | Yes ($10) | 3.2% | Yes (debit cards, 2-3 days) |
| CashApp | Yes ($10) | 0% | No |
| Venmo | Yes ($10) | 3.2% | Yes (hours) |
| Bank wire | Yes ($10) | $25-$35 | No |
| Interac e-transfer (Canada) | Yes ($10) | 100% | No |
| PayPal | Yes ($10) | 0% | Yes (hours) |
While Interac e-transfer is offered for deposits, it’s primarily for Canadians. When I was fiddling around with the option, it always showed a 100% fee – and no, that is NOT a typo. Perhaps if you’re Canadian, you’ll see more favorable terms.
As you can see, CashApp and PayPal don’t incur fees from TiltRips, while most of the other payment options incur a 3.2% fee for deposits. For withdrawals, you can generally expect a withdrawal fee of around $2.
Another thing that’s going to eat into your profit and budget is the 10% buyback fee. If you rip a card and decide to sell it back to the site immediately, the site will give you 90% of the value and keep 10% as a buyback fee. For example, if a card is worth $100, you can instantly sell it back for $90. You can consider that “lost” 10% as a convenience fee for instant liquidation of unwanted cards.
The other option is getting the card shipped to you.
The shipping charges will vary depending on where you live, as well as what you’re having shipped to you (e.g., single card versus slabbed multiple cards). In addition, for lower-value cards you can decide whether you want to include insurance on the shipment, but for high-value cards you’re usually required to pay for insurance. You can expect most shipping fees to be around $5 to $15. It’s a good idea to wait until you have several cards to ship, as that will save you money on shipping fees.
No. If you decide to hang onto your card and have it vaulted (stored by Tilt Rips), you don’t pay any fees for storage.
Yes. If you have a card shipped to you, then you’ll likely need to pay any applicable taxes on it. In addition, you’ll want to keep the documentation on your cards – if you sell them, you may need to report the sale on your taxes. Talk to a qualified tax professional if you have any questions.

Now let’s switch gears for the next part of my TiltRips review – the bonuses. Most sites offer some sort of promo to draw in new users, and this brand is no different. The site seems to offer a rotating set of promos, but at the current time it offers new users a free TiltRips pack after they purchase a pack (BOGO). Another promo I’ve seen is that you can get up to a 200% match on your initial account funding. Check the banners on this page to see what sort of offer is currently available to you. You usually don’t need a TiltRips promo code to take advantage of these offers.
Yes, this brand has a referral program in place where you can pick up a unique link to tell your friends about the site. When they make a qualifying purchase, both you and your referral will get a free pack. This is similar to the way many sites work that offer mystery boxes online, as both the referral and the existing customer often get free boxes to open.
Aside from the referral program, you may see other bonuses and incentives offered from time to time for existing collectors. For example, oftentimes you’ll see leaderboard races, such as “Weekend Warrior” races, where the collectors who open the most packs get a chance to share in a prize pool. You’ll want to keep an eye on your account, as well as the brand’s social media pages to get notified about these events.
Yes, there is a VIP program, which is available by invitation only. You can also request that your VIP status transfer from another card ripping site. This program is unusual in that it offers concierge services for exclusive, high-value experiences. VIP members will need to pay for the experiences with their cash or Tilt Points – which you collect by buying and ripping packs – but the VIP status unlocks the door to these experiences.
Here are my thoughts on the overall user experience:
If you love retro designs, then you’re going to love the throwback design feel of this site. The monkey graphics are fun, the animations provide a great experience during my rips, and the audio is a nice touch. The site is also clearly optimized for mobile use, as I had no issues or lags ripping from my phone even when using the site instead of the app.
The site is not complex in any way, so it’s very easy to get around. You’ll find your account info, the Cashier, and the Chat functions at the top of your screen, with the left side featuring links to the Marketplace, Packs you can open, other members’ Collections, leaderboard races and more. In the middle of the screen you’ll find featured pulls. Take a few minutes to explore, then hit the cashier to fund your account, and finally tap on “Packs” to begin ripping.
The upside is that this brand offers a pretty slick iPhone app which provides a great ripping experience. I like it even better than the website, because it just gives such a nostalgic throwback feel, since holding my phone makes me feel like I’m playing a Gameboy with the retro graphics and music. The downside here is that there is no Android app available yet, but I do hope that’s in the works.
As expected from this brand, there is quite a bit of do-it-yourself support documentation available on the site with FAQs and step-by-step articles. The downside is that there is no live chat option available yet, though I hope that they offer that in the future. For now, you can email them directly or open a ticket. I opened a ticket, and received an answer in just under three hours, which is a decent response for tickets.

This brand puts a heavy focus on community, so you can chat with your fellow collectors. The main chat is the public chat with all collectors on the site, but the brand mentioned that “friend” chats are coming soon, so I expect the site will function a bit like a social media site in that regard. VIP members can also chat with their VIP host in that same section.
Getting started on this site is a simple process. Follow these steps:
Tap the TiltRips banner on this page.
Tap the Register button.
Fill in your email address and password, or use your login from Google, Apple, Phantom, or Meta Mask.
Verify your account email when prompted.
Navigate to the cashier to fund your accounts.
Explore the site… and start ripping!
Pretty simple, right? Now if you’re like most collectors, you probably have one big question left:
Yes, this site is legit. It was founded by famous high-stakes poker player Sam Kiki, who also created MonkeyTilt. The company and the founder are quite transparent, which is a good sign. In addition, you’ll find that the brand is in compliance with the law, as they have detailed terms, conditions, and policies, plus collectors are required to provide identity verification. Finally, the website employs advanced encryption technology to keep your data safe, plus they partner with other safe third-party providers, such as well-known and reputable payment providers.
If you’re a Pokémon card collector, then this site is going to be right up your alley. There are plenty of card ripping sites around, including those focusing on Pokémon, but so many of them are largely anonymous. For example, how many random people have you seen on YouTube and elsewhere doing live rips, but you really have no idea who they are and whether they’re trustworthy?
This site is different, as it was founded by a well-known person, and the company is highly transparent, compliant and fair. Add that to the variety of packs available, the transparency regarding what’s in those packs, and the fact that every digital rip is backed by a physical card…and well, this site ends up being a nostalgic bit of fun for those seeking both modern and vintage cards.
To learn more, just tap the TiltRips banner on this page to get started. I’ll see you inside!
