Orioles activate OF Tyler O'Neill (wrist) from IL

The Baltimore Orioles activated outfielder Tyler O'Neil from the injured list after missing more than a month with right wrist inflammation.
O'Neill has played just 43 games in his first season with the Orioles, also missing time with neck and left shoulder injuries. The 30-year-old is batting .210 with eight home runs and 23 RBIs this season.
In eight major league seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals (2018-23), Boston Red Sox (2024) and Orioles, O'Neill is a career .244 hitter with 117 home runs and 301 RBIs in 633 games. He hit a career-best 31 home runs for the Red Sox last season.
In a corresponding move, Baltimore optioned outfielder Daniel Johnson to Triple-A Norfolk. Johnson was batting .208 in 17 games with the Orioles this season.
