Prosecutor: Niners Linebacker Reuben Foster Ruptured Girlfriend's Eardrum, Hit Her "8 To 10 Times"
credits: Ezra Shaw | source: Getty San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested on charges of domestic violence last month. Today, the Santa Clara district attorney’s office announced that Foster is being officially charged with felony domestic violence and misdemeanor possession of a large capacity weapon magazine.
In its news release, the DA’s office released more details from the alleged incident:
On February 11, the victim flagged down a stranger’s car driving on Shannon Road to call 911. She called police. The victim told responding sheriff’s deputies and Los Gatos police that Foster dragged her by her hair, physically threw her out of the house, and punched her in the head 8 to 10 times.
The release also states that the victim was treated at a local hospital for bruises and a ruptured ear drum. You can read the full release below:
